hello! can you please verify what the two red pieces that come in the kit are for? I know the black piece is the diff cover...but can't seem to understand what the red pieces are for? Do they replace the plastic piece with the two screw holes that originally come in the Arrma vehicles?

as in...do the red pieces replace the piece on the RIGHT in this photo?

Not it doesn't replace the part on the right. The whole kit replaces the whole part on the left. The 2 red pieces attach to the front and rear of the black piece and they for a new one. Here is a diagram that might help you. If you want to replace the part on the right also thats a separate part, and has different part numbers depending on what version of the truck you have V2, V3, V4, etc.

Sorry I didnt reply sooner. I no longer have the truck and had to remember a few things about it. I was confused too and ordered the wrong part once. But eventually got it right.
