After front tekno yellow springs intalled

I noticed there is some binding on front drive train when the front gets off the ground. I checked suspensign stops and they looked good. No bent dog bones or anything. Check yours no point in stressing the outdrive. How does it do highspeed turns with the new springs? Is a higher ride-height really better?

do you have any preload? I notice at a rest, that the front Arms are sitting at a pretty drastic angle. Are you concerned that the angle will cause additional wear on the outdrive cup, and the dog bone?

Either way that thing looks tough.

Truck would not sit like that without preload.
I'm thinking the collars are all the way down here.
Angle is pretty steep, outdrive cups and DB's would definitely experience a little more stress as compared to a flush stance...but to your point it does look pretty bad ass like that!

Preload is about half down.. checked the tension on the diff cups and seems to be ok...but will be brining preload up higher just to be safe. I have not ran truck yet..waiting on a new 4s battery from SMC...will only
Run 4s I think. Also I'm going to take the tekno yellows and put them on the back.then put the orange in the front...with 40 wt p front and 45wt in the rear. I will do a running video as soon as my set up is all set. Then test it all. Thanks for all the input

Yeah a slightly more neutral stance might be more safe.
I installed Tekno yellows on all four corners tonight.
I have the front preload at about 75% (of max), and the rears a little more (85%).
I like the truck sitting a wince higher in the back to ensure level traction from all 4 wheels while accelerating under 'squat'.
Run on 4S (SMC, 60C, 6500mAh), and she flies on the 12T.
Punch at 7, wheelies no problem.
Will be installing a Robinson Racing Extra hard 16T soon.
Can't imagine he truck on 6S...all the drivetrain havok it would cause is not worth the out of control characteristics it would exhibit, though I am sure it would be fun!

I agree ...just ordered my smc 4s battery. Plan only running 4s. So installed the orange 80mm springs in the front and the 90mm yellow in the rear like it much better stance wise. Real test will be running it

I'll be installing some Team Durango springs today and measuring the ride height before and after. Going to leave the stock shock oil in for this...
