Hi Gatno, I've bought one of these hobbywing max8 esc's after the original took on a drink of water and it turned into a smoke machine. I'm looking at how to mount it in my Typhon. Do you any other pics of where you mounted the switch and what did you use to hold the esc in place? Double sided tape, velcro, screw it down? Any info would be great.

I mounted a HobbyWing 150A ESC in my Kraton. Most HW ESC's have 4 holes on the bottom where the supplied screws will tap into. What I do is position the ESC where you want it and lighly mark a corner so as its easy to see where it was when you pull it off the ESC plate. Then take some bright colored nail polish and place a very small dab on each of the screw holes on the ESC. Place the ESC down on your pre-marked area on the ESC plate and hold for a second or two and lift. All 4 holes will be clearly marked on the ESC plate. Drill them out and mount your ESC!
