Center diff !

Installed the HR diff case today. I just keep breaking out the steel insert in the plastic one. Will c how she goes !!!
Smashed a pack through the Outcast today with the HR center diff not one bit of fluid leaking. Love that poop. It sounds louder to more of that gear noise. Thought my pinion gear mesh was to loose because of the noise but it is perfect. I'm a big fan so far !!:D

Went back to stock center diff housing, drive cups seem to have less play when grabbing ahold of them then hot racing housing. Bearing that slid on outside of housing knob feels tighter on stock housing. My opinion is HR isn't always a fix.

All shimmed ,still have hr in front an rear. Pinion blew up 2nd run, then bout 5th run spur broke , probably weak from pinion break. Good play at drive cups, some wear in aluminum housing. Pinion breaks out of box have made me not as big a fan as some.but stayed in the game so far.

@Camo - Yes I had it shimmed, and yeas I got some leakage, but I should have used a tough of thread locker on the metal to metal screws. Now that I have, it has held up wonderfully. I agree with another post that says HR is not always the fix. I certainly would not use them for any of the gears. Being able to scan a part and CNC it out of aluminum is easy enough. Providing hardened steel gears that will hold up to my driving,....well I'll leave that to Robinson Racing.
