Backflip inside out

Dat’s why these tires are sooo good !! A bit of reinforcing. Anyone had them off the rim ?
Well that explains things a bit. Thanks for sharing. Surprised they don't use the ribbing as a selling point with the wheel sets.

Why don’t all tires get produced like this? Why don’t manufacturers sell tires and wheels separate any longer?

I have like 6 sets of wheels/tires that I am thinking of boiling to separate in order to gorilla tape the inside... been putting it off all winter

@joostin420 How good are they !!!! I couldn’t get them off the rim. I had a heat gun on them till they smoked and the glue never let go ??? I ripped that one off lol !!

In the 5th scale world a lot of tires are made like this to handle the power of the bigger gas engines. In the past most people were using 23cc or 26cc engines. Nowadays 29cc, 32cc and even 34cc are more common. There's a lot of power in those engines. Comparable with 8S brushless setups.

Than you also have the so called "bigbore" engines which are 40cc up to 78cc. There's a limited amount of tires that can keep up with that kind of power.
