What is this? Looks great.
"Technically" it a Talion (M2C Speed Chassis). But with Mojave arms and Alza Racing ultra-short Typhon towers. Had to modify this cause for some reason it just wasn't right. Had some diff issues mainly so I broke it down and made a few changes to lighten it up. Changed the tires, took the wheelie bar off the back, removed the cap pack and switched up the motor. Unfortunately this version is gone. I'll take some pics of the new updated version which I'm testing now.

haha I almost bought those tires earlier because of your pics. I'm actually building a talion XL and your pic was giving me inspiration. Thankfully I had decided against the tires as I wanted to increase the width with kraton hubs and extensions but wouldn't be able to use extensions with grp adapter.

I would love to see pics of your revised version! What motor did you have and which did you end up going with?

The tires were great. They're heavier than I thought (about 318 grams) which is lighter than a Sweeps Crusher but still heavier than most. I like to have tires less than 300 grams which is about a pound of weight all around. On the "new"one I put the Jetko Supersonics 1/8 SGT size which are only 270 grams each.

I was having trouble with the Infraction diffs and I blew the center twice. The updated one got the normal Talion diffs since the spiral cuts are a little stronger than the straight cuts. I may try Felony rear diffs at some point.

I had a TP 4070CM 2400KV in there. Now I got a Cordova 1445 2300KV (107mm long!!). I'm liking the Cordova a lot and you can tell the quality difference in hand. Wound up buying 2 more Cordovas for some other things I'm working on.

omg you filthy TP traitor!!!!! :ROFLMAO: I might have to get those wheels at some point then. Do you think the grps are strictly for on road? I was already intending on using talion/kraton diffs so thats good. Thanks for all the insight bro!

Mines has Kraton hubs and axles. Had to use the JustBashIt adapters which do extend the wheels out quite a bit actually. The GRPs are for on road only. They're actually F1 tires. I like them a lot but I couldn't figure out if my diff problems were because they're a little heavy or just a bad build. Sometimes when you build it looks good but just doesn't run like you would expect. So I sort of tore it down to start over. The TP was cool too but the Cordova has more punch and seems a lot more sturdy. I'm saving the TP for something else. Made the mistake of getting the one with vents in the back. Should've got the closed end. I ain't no damn trader!!! LOL
