Defective Nero BigRock Diffbrain Servo

This is how it sounded out of the box. It had three issues: The holding pin of the tiny middle gears wasn't fixed correctly, the "motor" was seated with a small angle so that drive gear didn't have good contact to first gear and locking actuator was mounted too tight which blocked servo saver ring.

My center diff servo did the exact same thing after a couple months of owning my Big Rock. Hope Arrma replaced it for you. The warranty department moves kind of slow, but they seem to be pretty good about replacing parts that shouldn't have failed like this.
