Those are some gnarly tires.

They certainly put a lot of power to the ground. After I figured out how to keep them from ballooning, they ended up being pretty good shoes.

How's the braided line holding up after a few runs? Keeping that ballooning at bay?
Also, did you gear down at all, how are the temps?
I have the lockups, essentially the same tire, and they're considerably heavier than the backflips on the Outcast. Haven't run them yet.

Still using the stock gears, and yeah the braided line is a good fix. The tires balloon about as much as my SRC Terrain Crushers, which is ZERO. I had the end on one of them come loose last night, but since I glued them every couple inches, it did not fully unravel. I’ll be doing this to all my tires soon enough.
