Shower done :)
Hi Trickle, nice update to stiffen the chassis. I was palnning to do exactly the same and was wondering why nobody else had that idea, since themounting point from fron to back shocktowers seems to be ideal and body still fitting perfectly. I am trying to find best way to get 2 carbon tubes attached In a manner that the can easily be removed. How did you do it. I see two screws. where do they go into?
Thanks and best regards Derrick

@Derrick 0511 thank you, they are from mike foucart here on forum. inside the tube theres an aluminum insert that fits the tube diametre pretty exactly, and countersunk m3x40mm screws to fit through the shocktowers. very easy to just remove the rear shock tower and get everything in place. very important tho to make it tight from the beginnning. i was in a too much of a hurry when i got them to just get them on and get out driving so after few runs i broke a screw and the other one got s-shaped...anyways took it apart, superglued the m3x40 into the countersunk insert and its as good as new.
Oh and then a hole to fit screw to hold the insert in place. something like that :)

IF my explanation is too confusing ask mike im sure he can explain better ;)

You got a picture of the front of the tower with the aluminum tubes? I bet a carbon fiber arrow probably is better because it can bend a little on a big crashes and still let the chassis flex a little.

@NITROMAN2000

Theres a 1" tube at each end that is smaller with a countersunk hole drilled and it has the long screw attached that holds the tube to the tower and the shocks. inside the big tube.....
And then a bigger screw that goes through the big tube to hold the small tube. Maybe this was a bad explanation. Anyways heres pic...and yes mybe carbon fibre would be a nice go :)
