Typhon Front End Protection

Looking for ways to increase protection of the front end of the 3S as it's pretty exposed?

Anyone know if this will fit?

That won't fit. It's made for the 6s and it's completely different. I believe they are working on one for the 3s BLX trucks.

I bought the bigger basher bumper from the 6S and I plan on just dremmeling it and drilling new holes. Only real difference is there are two holes instead of 4. They have the T-Bone bumpers for the Senton and Granite...they just won't look right on a buggy. Should be here in a day or two and I can say for sure. For 13 bucks shipped, I'll be the guinea pig.

The only danger is that if it breaks they might not honor their free replacement policy since it's been modified......and the one I have on my 6s broke in half on a nose first landing. I sent them a picture and they sent me a new one.

Yeah...figured that would be the case. I have yet to break a TBone bumper in about two or three dozen cars over the years. So not too worried about my 13 dollar investment.

I shattered half of mine on my revo. I hit a tree in flight at near WOT on 4S (about 40mph). Shattered my bulkhead and cracked the diff case as well. I emailed them to see if I could buy the part I broke, it was a 2 or 3 piece bumper. They asked for my address and sent a new piece for free.

Honestly though, for as well as they do hold up, I'd spend the money on a new one anyway. The only time I'd ask for a replacement is if it didn't fit right to begin with.

They sent me a typhon bumper with no mounting holes at my request so I could fit it on my Force RC Muckraker. Just shoot them an email.

The 4x4 Senton box bumper fits the 3s Typhon.

To add the bumper you will need:
Skid plate AR320419
Bumper Parts AR320410 , AR320405
3mm Screws if you don't have some AR721312

Thanks mate. I took her out yesterday and she came back broken! Need a new wing and front shock covers.

My depth perception blows. You'd think after bashing for 20 years, I'd drive better, but I'm just downright awful. If there's a tree/post/stump that is in the general direction of where I'm driving and I'm off to the side, there's a 99% chance I'm going to hit it at some point.

I did have video of it, but it was on a camera that stopped recording anything in focus. So, you see a blurry blur hitting a blurry blur. I was so mad that I lost an entire days bashing with me and a couple guys that I don't think I bothered grinding through the blurry mess to try and make a video. It was that day that made me spend $300 on a gopro hero5. I was so mad!
