I try to purchase all my Arrma rigs through a local Hobbytown. I have burn esc's, and utterly destroyed other parts from bashing pretty hard. They treat me exceptionally well over there. All Arrma vehicles come with a 2yr warranty, is my understanding, these guys just take the necessary part off a nib rig and trade me my broken parts right there, no money exchange, and even offer to install said part for me free of cost. They take care of all the warranty stuff for me. Matter of point here, I just got off the phone with them and told them I was having charging issues with one of my 6s packs, they told me they have set one aside for me, so just bring the old battery in and we will exchange it for you. I highly recommend at least my local Hobbytown shop, as they are very customer oriented and helpful. So, to answer the thread question, no I have not had any issues with warranty on my Arrma rigs at all. ?

Yeah, I have had nothing but awesome warranty claims with them. Can’t recommend them enough.

To the whole warranties are bad conversation, I think these types of warranties are awesome and I applaud any company willing to stand behind their product with an exceptional warranty program. I feel it holds themselves accountable for the products they produce and will drive continuous improvement. If there a handful of problems with a design, warranty claims are a way of quantifying and bringing them to the companies attention to address. How can they fix something if they don’t know about it?

You are a perfect example of my analogy @bicketybam. T Bone Racing rubbed you the wrong way, correct? You are a very well spoken member of this forum, and many people like to read all you have to say. You're knowledge and experience is always appreciated. Many members may have chosen to not buy from T Bone now, because they trust you and your opinion. As many positive reviews they may have received on this forum and others, many will hone in on your comments regarding your experience with T Bone. This is exactly why a company should consider every claim made by their consumer, and why people should always consider making a claim. Burn the wrong guy once, and you might see a significant decrease in sales of your product. This is how consumers develop their views, based on real time customer experiences.

They didn't just rub me the wrong way. They sent me a defective part and then ignored my complaint for months. When I finally got them to respond their response was "you can fix it yourself." That's unacceptable to me and all I did was relay my experience on this forum. I know a lot of people have had great experiences with them and that's great. I wouldn't tell people not to buy from them. They can make their own decisions.

FWIW I have read complaints here that I thought were completely baseless. It didn't sway me at all because their complaint was ridiculous. But I definitely see your point.

Ive been waiting a few days after contacting Arrma via email, their helpdesk app and twitter about my Kraton that I suspect has a knackered servo - has anyone had positive or negative experiences with them? (or ModelSport models?)

wheels turn when off the ground but on the ground they wont turn
They are pretty good I called tower hobbies and sent them the part numbers. That's where I purchased my truck from..

No disrespect was intended by my comment. Just trying to express a point.

My hats off to both of you! Really! You have no idea how many thread's/posts/comments I've seen on the internet where one guy "calls out" another guy and then it's a fight to the internet death to all that are within a 20 click proximity.

It's great to see that kind of discussion not get blown to shreds.

Sorry, just had to say something because I'm basking in the glory of this conversation!

Still cracks me up that people expect a warranty to cover an RC car part.

still cracks me up when a part fails on a new rc touted as being tough dies on its 2nd time out on a relatively gentle run

- still, returned the servo and got a no quibble upgrade :)
