Got the 6S Typhon T-Bone Racing bumper, drilled a couple of new holes and voila...fits perfectly and is extremely strong. I noticed the front end of the Typhon dug into the grass pretty easily if you don't land flat. This helps it kind of scoot along the grass when landing a little nose down during jumps. The only thing I needed was a longer screw w/ a wider head for the screw towards the back. It comes with a short square screw and needed to get the wider head so it wouldn't pull through the plastic.

I took a rear T-bone bumper from a senton and made it work.

hey hattrick300 I like a lot how those badlands look in the typhon, however don't they put a lot of stress and overheat for this platform ? why did you go with MT badlands instead of buggy badlands which are lighter ?

Thanks !

I'm not hattrick300 but I can answer it...

I went w/ the older Badlands MT because I didn't want the mass of the MX28s because I feared the heat issue you speak of. Even with the smaller older version I saw excess heat on the 20t pinion. I had to go back to the 15t to keep the temps down. The main reason I wanted bigger tires was for control in the air. Easier to flip, easier to correct mistakes, etc...and you get a little more clearance in grass and brush.

So yes, you're right, you do get more heat w/ the bigger tires, so I went w/ the smaller of the two badland MT options and kept the stock 15t to keep it cool.

Thanks a good advice, thanks ! Could I please have the link for the exact badlands model you used ?

PRO1173-00 is the unmounted tires and then I just got some F11 wheels w/ the 17mm hex and glued them up. The wheels are model PRO2755-03.

The tires are discontinued on Pro-Line's site, so you'll have to google/ebay them.

Thank you ! did you need hex extensions ? I've seen some folks needing hex extensions when using MT tires on the Typhon.

The F11 wheels I linked worked perfectly on my 3S version of the Typhon. Can't say for sure on the 6S version if that's what you're looking at.

Thanks a lot, I'm looking to get a 3S version so that would work perfectly.

Superticky,

I put the MX28's on there and only ran it for about 5 minutes before I broke a front a-arm. The MX28's ended up on my boys 3s Senton. I ordered a set of the badlands and a set of F-11 wheels that may end up on it, not sure at the moment.

How dose the senton handle those big tires, i would think it wouldnt have much bottom end with a 20 tooth pinion

There was some coging but it was tolerable, and ran them in the snow mainly, I put them on my boys Senton so he and I could go play in the snow.

Did I read somewhere that you could order that bumper without any holes.... I like the look.... Nice job !

The 4x4 Senton box bumper fits the 3s Typhon.

To add the bumper you will need:
Skid plate AR320419
Bumper Parts AR721312 , AR320405
3mm Screws if you don't have some AR721312

Hey mate. I got the parts, however I don't have one part. I've circled it in red. What is that part please? Attached photo of the parts I ordered.
