What.??! OK, that's pretty bad, I'd get Horizon to fix that for you, a radio shouldn't do that.
Well what they going to do i don't want a remplacement radio i did not break the car after one month of pure abuse like nose landing 10 feets on the air ect. They sended me 4 tires i was blown away because i said i had one bended rim out of the box.
I don't even want to sell the stx2 radio and receiver because its bad... nobody should buy this radio for any reason at first it was great but i started having range issue reverse lag and acceleration delay and after i went full speed under a parked car... im lucky that my loose clutch saved me from doing a wheelie and not wreck the parked car... because oh boy..

The only problem I've had with my STX2 is that it won't go in reverse on the 50% throttle switch. I also got poor range under some power lines, so yeah the signal is weak, but in normal street conditions I had no problem. I'm pretty sure the 50% throttle is actually a 50% dual-rate (both throttle and brake), and reverse is already set to 50%.

So 50% throttle is actually like 25% in reverse, which might not be enough signal to actually go in reverse. I've had this happen with other radios, although it's usually more like dropping to 30-40% where reverse stops working. In any case, might be worth it to call them and get a replacement so that you at least have one new in the package if you want to include it with your car if you decide to sell it.

I agree. This happens with the BLX100 and my DX5C too when I set the throttle/brake to under 50%. I might have even done this with my Tactic TTX300 radio, I can't remember exactly. You can turn down the throttle and brake EPA on that radio too, I used to do that for my kids and I think reverse stopped working.

I give little kids to try my car at 25% speed when they get stuck they cant go into reverse for example and its kinda annoying

Its not worth being fixed or the chance to wreck a $500.+ rig over a POS radio again. I know, I have 4 brand new paperweights!

Having to deal w 6S bent chassis issues?

really?

You just want to throw it off a cliff, lolz.

I have had my Talion, same chassis, w heavy oversized tires, wheels, wheelie bar, 5S 5000mah 60C lipo battery stock trim, no HDR aluminum braces non of that, just stock plastic braces, AND (so you hear all the fan boys), mine is running fine after all these yrs. The chassis looks like the bottom of a heavily used skateboard, must be 2mm by now, construction sites, mud, rain, snow, its a beast, fyi, I got V2 and still w same stock body held on w gorilla glue.

You should reset your ESC, and there is something called warranty and customer service which I did not see a word of it in your initial post.

*and about returning it, its the nature of it. I had a deluxe package Xbox One w two games, controllers, GOW theme for Xmas for my son. Arrived DOA, wifi and ethernet was defective.... NO - I did not open a thread, I called customer service, and within a week I had a brand new one at the door.

Well I guess Vas got one that was touched by the hand of God as well. Took plenty of tumbles and the A-arms survived. The plastic for the A-arms must really vary from truck to truck.

If you watch his first running video of the 4s Kraton he broke a rear a arm on a ass heavy landing.

Did you watch this one? That's the one I'm referring to. I'm just saying it took some pretty decent knocks and the arms held.

So far my arms are strong had a lot of bad landing caus im bad at driving in the air no damage only cracked body fixed with shoe goo in the front
I think its just that there is a few defective arms out there

Not yet, but I will. And I missed the part about the plastic varying from part to part and I do agree and can confirm that Arrma's plastic has a varying consistency to it. I have had some of the plastic bits on my Outcast go to crap on the first pack I ran through it (look at one my very first posts on these forums and it is about the quality of the plastic parts on these vehicles). The replacements for most part are still kicking strong after nearly 2 years. Hell I still have my stock battery tray in my Outcast.

The first release of the Nero was this way, everyone broke the a-arms on their first run. When I bought the 2nd Gen 6s Kraton I thought I would have the same issue, but I still haven't installed the rpm a-arms I bought 3 yrs ago. Stock is still going strong. Shock towers and diffs were the achilles hill of the 2nd gen kraton.

After putting on new rear arms and using zip ties to limit their forward/reverse travel, I’ve had no breakages. I even took it to a pretty hardcore skate park, and had some hard landings. No bad landing really, just flat from pretty high. So the slipper is still holding tight, no broken arms, and I have a flysky fs-gt5 on the way to see if that controls it better. Things are looking up.

Pics of the zip tie stabilizers?

I haven’t actually added any to the forward side of the arms yet (I’ll have to drill some holes in the chassis to mount them). The rear side are more important though. You’ll see the ties around the hinge pin joints too for added strengthening. It’s not limiting up and down suspension travel any either.

My arrma kraton 4s esc doesn't go into slow mode when the baterry gets low it just cuts off and full brakes.
Yesterday the connector to loop to make it run with one single baterry melted off making an open circuit. Im kinda scared now that my esc might be damaged

Mine just shuts off suddenly also. Then the battery is to low to charge so I have to charge in nihm mode for 30 seconds to gain enough charge to charge in Lipo mode. I figured it’s something I have to set up to give a warning when the battery gets low. I’ve been meaning to learn more about it.
