I had a blast with it yesterday and got a neighbor so excited hes buying my brushed version and might even end up getting a "real" RC soon when he sat and laughed at how cool it was to see my Outcast 4s do wheelies up and down the block. You gotta love when you bring in a new recruit to RC.

I also figured out how to do backflips with this little guy. I was only trying to hop up the sloped edge of a curb and did it on accident. Then realized its easy to do again. Never thought Id get this much fun from a small scale RC.

Be interesting to see how long the Diffs hold up on that. That’s the only thing I have broken on 20+ hours on the Hosim 9125. I believe xinlehong is the same company

Isnt that a 10th scale? The diffs are metal. Only thing thats broke so far was a bent rear axle and 1 steering block. Well that and the cracked rims I showed above. Strange thing is that since I replaced the rims with the same ones and made sure they were glued right none have cracked since.

I think Hosim sells your car as the 2847. It’s on amazon prime. Yeah the 9125 is advertised at a 1/10 but it’s really a 1/12. The diffs in the 9125 keep failing on the outdrives. Cheap pot metal. Wish there was an upgraded diff. My rims on my three 9125’s have also cracked a little bit although it appears to just be cosmetic. Not bad for RC’s that my kids drive into trees to do backflips and abuse the heck out of.

Yup the 2847 is the same. I almost bought that version but the one I got came with an extra body for a few bucks less. It is pretty tough. And when I get the E-Revo Talon wheels and tires on it I think it will not only be tougher but handle even better. I am still using the oil shocks from the 144001 while I wait for the official ones from China. And like my signature says I have another 16th scale brushless on the way. I am almost 100% sure Ill be selling the 144001 with all the extra parts I have for it soon.

Have you done any speed tests with it yet? My kids are asking for something faster and was considering just getting them brushed granites and they can upgrade when age appropriate.

don't have any way of testing it. But I do have a video for an idea of its speed. Its pretty fast for its size. Ill get a video up shortly.

I posted a picture on the last page showing the 9125 sitting next to a Stampede and the WLTOYS 144001 it's about the same size as the WL TOYS 144001.

Just wanted to add another post after installing and testing the new E-Revo Talon tires on my Q903. Wow what a difference. Its like driving a different car. I thought it was fun and handled well before. But with the new tires its awesome. It wheelies almost every time now. The axles on this are a bit shorter than the Revo so the stock wheel nuts didnt go on enough to get to the plastic locking part. So I had to use some thinner lock nuts and they a dab of orange thread lock. Worked perfect. I also redid the diffs grease with some white lithium caliper grease I have for my motorcycle. Not sure if that changed anything but it handles so well now. It use to slide a lot with the stock tires because they are well... cheap. Big difference now. Pics below with the orange body. I have all 3 color bodies for it also.

PS: My next 1/16th scale Brushless will be here tomorrow!

Well I was right about the neighbor. I did sell him the brushed 9138 for his son. We were running the 9138 and the Q903 together and he saw how much faster the brushless Q903 is. He started asking how much it was, so I cut him a deal and sold it to him on the spot with all the batteries and chargers. His son now has the brushed 9138 and he has the Q903 brushless and loves it. We had all 3 out the other day including my HBX 16889 and it was a blast.

Its just a matter of time when one of these days Im out their smashing the Outcast 4s and he will finally give in and start asking how much a 10th scale is. I already have some recommendations for him. Big Rock 3s comes to mind. ;)

I went through 3 Hosim 9125s and they were great except for the rear differential. The right side output shaft was the only thing that broke. It broke on all 3 of them between 1 and 4 hours of driving. Bought them all on amazon and returned all 3 of them. If the rear diff holds up on this one I’d be interested in getting it. Report back after you have a few more hours on yours

I got one issue.. what are the freaking size of those berings in the hubs???? I cant find a thing even with the dimentions of one:/
Wanted to get sealed bearings b

This is why a digital caliper is always nice to have.

I am pretty sure that the Hosim uses the same bearings I can get you the measurements later tonight.

Just stumbled across this thread. The laegendary 1/16 scale on amazon is essentially this direct copy. It’s a rebranded Q901/902/903. Difference is it comes with oil filled shocks already. Sweet idea with the 144001 shocks on there. I also put on hub adaptors and erevo tires. Things been a beast except for when I stripped a pinion. Good luck finding that. I ordered 2 from China and it took damn near 2 months to get here. This was before covid took over! You can find a lot of the parts through searching laegendary 1/16 or hosim 1/16. Both are rebranded xinelhong versions. I use some kyosho gear lube on the spur and she purrs like a kitten now. Even the 1/20 version is a lot of fun for tight areas.
