BAN and protest Arrma? I mean, there are other stupid protests going on that only hurt the people involved...

I love the solid and brutally honest reviews. This industry needs more of that. While reviews can be personal, meaning your perspective and opinion may not match mine I respect and appreciate your reviews Vas!

Such a niche industry, there are only so many places "to go" if you want an RC vehicle.

You would figure the companies would have a little more heart and try to protect the industry as much as they can. While they don't necessarily have to send an email, letter, etc explaining the reasoning, I feel like Vas deserves it.

I know I would be pretty ticked off if someone I worked with for 5 years just started ghosting me with no explanation.

I feel very sorry for Vas and hope he can get his mind to peace.

Social media has become a platform to bully people, that's why i dislike it so much and try to keep my daughters away from it.

People, even children kill themselves because they are bullied. It has a huge impact overseen by many.

On this forum i see people bullying others are being decently adressed by other members.
Please keep doing that, for Vas and everybody else.

I am not advocating for or against any brand here. I have been and will likely continue to buy and support Arrma RCs. That said, I wanted to give Vas a dose of kindness to dull the pain that has been inflicted on him. I don’t know him personally, but over the years of viewing his videos, I feel like I’ve gotten to know him and he feels like a brother to me. I know that’s a one way deal, but it’s the perspective I have. I just wish he didn’t feel so isolated on his side. ✌???

Certainly I hope he feels better and he doesn't deserve any abuse.

However, he does seem to say he broke an NDA and sent a picture to people but he wasn't the one who leaked the image. Sounds like denial or at least it's unclear.

But regardless I hope things get better for him. He makes great videos.

I get it. He seems to be very liked on all the media platforms. I'm not a tuber that much. I don't twat, twoot, yoohoo, bookface, yourspace ETC... I'm sure he will get picked up by another RC company soonish.

The internet has been a double-edged sword. On the one hand information is now easier to access and share. On the other hand the trolls, bullies, hate-mongers etc. are now also able to easily infiltrate more lives than just those of proximity.

The internet has exposed how ugly alot of people really are and I'm not talking physical looks. The old saying "beauty is on the inside" is more true today than ever before. People are not afraid to show their true selves especially when the internet is able to connect them to like minded people.

The point of my post is that the situation Vas is in sucks and with cancel culture being what it is it sounds like (as he described) the facebook group that was created to hate on him had been working on "cancelling" him just out of pure hate. He did admit breaking an NDA so in the end it's hard to take a side on something like this. Above all else the situation is messed up and I think both sides had a hand in the result we see now.

Even on forums I am not afraid to use the ignore button. And if people ignore me it doesn't bother me because that is every persons right.

I have not had any social media (not including forums for my hobbies) ever since I cut it all out back in 2006. I saw back then what it was becoming because even relatives I couldn't stand wanted to "friend" me and got butt-hurt when I declined. It's easier to ignore the dumb-assery when they have no access to you.

In the end, Vas, there are many toxic people out there. Just gotta weed them out and keep your head up.

Is it politics though? I see HH as just a big company of suits with no real personal connection with any of their YT influencers. In their eyes the YT'ers are a pretty small fish in a big pond and if even a question mark is raised against one of them, sacking or discipline doesn't and cant come into it.. they are simply put on the ignore list.

Contrast this to a far smaller, closer knit, better run setup, how it was before they were taken over by HH. I think that is probably whats happened here rather than dark political forces at work.

If anything political/untoward has been going on in setting Vas up I imagine it comes from the YT reviewer side of things rather than HH or Arrma.
Thats just my take on it as an outsider looking on and it may be a completely wrong one..




I suspect you might read this thread so I'm just gonna say.. I hope you are feeling better for getting that off your chest Vas, I don't know you personally but your vids have always been really on point for me, you are one of my main RC goto channels.
Please remember that where there is change there is also opportunity and also know that I'll keep watching your content whatever future form or path it takes.

@Aussie RC Playground, you're a great dude and I'll say the same thing here as I said on YT -- thank you for your videos, you are the reason I own an Arrma Notorious 6S and your videos are great. On camera you have a natural easy going way about you and I think you deserved better from Arrma. I actually did email Arrma as well to let them know my feelings, seeing as you're part of their "shadow marketing" department, sadly with no recognition these days. Cheers bud!

Man I love Vas's videos because
- His in-depth unboxing. If you don't like it don't watch it.
- His xS lipo runs is great to watch and he usually does it on BMX track for bashers to see
- After all that he does a great review of all the things he saw and thinks might be an issue

Looking at some of the comments... Dude HH is huge in this hobby.
I just started to play with RC cars last year and I'm a old ass man, but one of the things I love is looking at the cooperation side of things.
HH is one of the biggest players in the western world when it comes to the RC market. Arrma, Losi, Team Losi Racing, Axial, Vaterra etc etc.
I know Vas just really play with Arrma products from their line up but that's pretty big losing them as support.

Also what is this deal about Kevin Talbot talking trash about Vas? I haven't watched all of Vas's video but is he pretty much saying it was Kevin that 'leaked' the photo? And what photo are they talking about? Bent Kraton 8S Chassis?

Because if so that kind of disappointments me if Kevin is talking trash about Vas. I enjoy Kevin's content as he enjoys and loves his RCs, but he has ZERO F's to give when sending it. And I enjoy that he's willing to take his RC and smash it up for my enjoyment so I can see how REALLY durable they are.

Dang man all the communities I'm part of this year is falling apart.

@Aussie RC Playground That took some ?? to get this off your chest. I appreciate your channel, your reviews, your honesty and especially the hard work around all that 'hobby' of posting videos. It's a lot more effort than 90% of the viewers think it is.
I've seen some comments, even on this site, that argued and nitpicked/disagreed but you always responded and explained yourself. I was always convinced that you were in the right. Technical opinions will always differ unless they violate physics but I don't ever recall that you were ever on that side.

Corporate America - people blame a lot on 'corporation' but at the end of the day there is a person sitting at the other end, even inside that 'large corporation'. A lot of people use it as a blanket excuse which is just wrong. It is simply a bad person in that chair not responding. Alternate explanation is that there was a directive to stop all communication which should have been announced. Absence of that is telling me it's just a person not doing the job they are hired to do or up high enough and consider themselves 'above' the rules. Friggin human dignity in my opinion.

No idea how Horizon is handling Youtubers that have fallen out of grace (unwarranted or warranted), always a gray area.
Taking blame for something you didn't do is always a double edge sword in any corporation it would lead to a bad rep and untimately you will be leaving when psuh comes to shove. People should look, listen and learn from this. Short term perceived benefit is long term doom. I've doe that once as well but it rectified itself. Looks like it hurt you significantly. Life altering decision in hindsight.

I would love to see more of your content. You would be greatly missed reviewing these products.

Whoa, this guy Vas ADMITS to flat out breaking a NDA. For taking A picture and sending it to not one but "a couple people" and is then upset because they didn't give him a virtual handshake and say goodbye.

Then new RC's come out and he's crying because he wasn't told about them and he can't believe it.

Take RC out of this... lets pretend a friend told you a very personal secret and told you not to tell anyone and instead you in turn and tell others and send them a recording of said secret. Do you really think that friend owes you crap now? Do you really think that friend should have to come back to you again and say "thanks for all the years, but I'm done". Hell no. No.

Man up and grow up. This is silly. Then he goes on to say he's "not upset of the whole free car thing" clearly he is. That what every list bit of this is about. How about run your channel like most any other person. Get the product when they are out, with your own money, and do reviews.

His entire channel is based on getting free stuff, before others and doing unboxings and reviews... and in some cases even breaking NDA's for the funs.

He demands Arrma and Horizon Hobby to reach out to him. They owe him nothing. They've supplied him with Arrma RC's for years and tons of information only to have him turn around and tell others when told not to. HE ADMITS LEAKING A PHOTO, if not the photo that went around like crazy or not but that doesn't matter. HE BROKE THEIR TRUST.

Their ignoring him IS their closure. He broke their trust and relationship and and of course it's classic not his fault. HH and Arrma are the ones to blame for all this, and this silly video. He's mad because they aren't sending him RC's and ignoring him. Grow up and take responsibility. He royally blew it, this is entirely on him and to blame either company is laughable.

No surprise here it seems Jason from arrma has spoken. Just as any sane person would expect as no one can post a video like that with that language and kind of rant and expect any sane company to be welcoming with open arms.

Vas don’t let those corporate pricks or the Arrma boot lickers get you down... Your honest, no BS reviews are some of the best. I appreciate all you’ve done man.
