They are arguably the worst in the industry. The cheapest china knock-off is known to perform better.

I’ve had good luck with SMC 4S batteries. SMC has a graphene 9700mah battery that I want to try next.

i have these - so far so good - although their cheap $40 4s 5200mah batteries perform just as well for me.

I never had Max Amps, but My SMC's were great, for about a dozen runs...

That's terrible lol! I've never had this issue with smc but this isn't the first time I have seen that

I've had two, both looked like that within a dozen runs.

From what I understand, SMC's older "Factory Spec" and "Racer Spec" lines were great... IMHO, the brand lives on the reputation of those packs, which he has not sold in years...

Makes you wonder why some have good luck them and others don't. I have seen the opinion swing both ways with smc practically everywhere there is conversation about them.

There was a series ~ 1 year ago that puffed easier than others due to the manufacturing, something with oil filled or similar.
Mine have held up fine as well, purchased ~ 8 month ago.

Man those are some fancy expensive hard cases to cover up some regular lipo cells. And it doesn't even say they contain graphene
