Well took out the beast today for some ice cold bash fun, stripped out my servo. I didn't set my end points after my rebuild mock up so ya my servo is nice and stripped now. Has a nice chunk of missing teeth. oh well lesson learned. If you don't set your end points this can happen or you can burn out the servo. Amazon here I come, time to get another ecoboost my noto has one and it's still going so I'll get another.

When I first got my Summit I had no idea what setting the servo end points was, needless to say I went through like 6 servos before I realized why.

Is it the stock Arrma ADS-15m servo? You can/could buy a rebuilt kit for like $15.

I have spare gear sets and 2 spare arrma servos. I have a aliexpress 2 for 1 deal special in it right now. And either the servo horn is stripped or the internal gears, my rig is still in the tub melting lmao. I haven't had a look at it yet. But since I have an aluminum horn on it I'm betting the gears are shot. I like my ecoboost 25kg in my noto it has taken a lot of bad landings and beatings and still works. It honestly looks like a rebrand savox same hieght too as I had to shim my stock mount to fit. I'm going for the 35kg flavour this time as the kraton is a pig and weighs a ton. I swapped radios and didn't reset them this time so ya new guys end points are important.

Adjust steering rate to where it'll turn just as much as it can freely.past that point it'll overwork servo trying to turn when steering rack won't go any further burning up servo or stripping gear or destroying servo mount ect.servo saver(thing with spring under steering rack)will help save servo.lol to some point.when u upgrade to hi-voltage or hi-torque servos especially.servos with big power like this savox will tear sh*t up quick

Setting end points means setting the points where the servo stops moving left or right. If the servo moves more then your steering can turn the steering will stop and the servo will keep going and that's how you strip gears or burn out servos. You gotta set your steering rate so the servo stops moving where your steering stops moving.
 
I'm a big fan of the newer hobbystar,this one is one of the fastest out there an I like it better than the 2 savox I got.they have a hi-TORQUE ONE THAT WOULD BE GOOD FOR OC,NOTO,K6 AN UNDER 50$$

I'm still gunna order the JX eco boost. They are really good for their price. I still swear they are rebranded savox servos. These blue aliexpress 2fer1 servos are okay but they really don't like hard chassis slap landings. They completely shut down for a few seconds and then turn on until one time they just stop. Eco boost hasn't yet so I'm gunna try another and keep it for when this blue one finally does die.

Gotcha! Iv got a 20 kg haiwoo or sumthing. Camaroboy sent during the xmas givaway.its an upgrade over stock but im wanting a bit more power/speed.I thought my stock was getting weak but my ackerman was bent. I went ahead n straightened it and shimmed my servo saver a bit. Damn tree got my ackerman plate and front shock tower. Second tree got my front arm😂 . 50+ mph on a narrow dirt rd got me lol but fun🤘
