Arrma RC's
  1. Talion
Hello at all,
I bought a Talion V3 with which I'm having a lot of fun using it off road ... but considering its low center of gravity and its speed I would like to use it also in large asphalt parking lots ... that's why someone can advise me that rims and tires onroad buy? I'm looking for both tires with an excellent grip to use it in speed and tires a bit 'harder with trying to drift....

SRC road sweep's are fun for asfault, like getting into your Indy car.

I totally agree

These 2 tires links you're looking at are for a buggy. You should probably look for truggy tires for your Talion, although if looking only for the street, maybe can have more flexibility on what you can try, like maybe a lighter skinnier tire?
No worries, if 1/8 scale, it should be a 17mm hex.

Thanks for the help... another question I would like to fit stiffer springs in both front and back, I read that many use Tekno Orange. Can anyone tell me the code?

The new V3 Talion now has shorter shocks front & rear, so gather Tekno springs would be too long? Also, the V3 Talion is already equipped with Arrma's stiffest shock springs (front 9.7lb/in) & Arrma does not offer any optional springs. Hopefully there will be more choices from Arrma & the aftermarket coming soon. In the past couple of months, most of the RC aftermarket companies I've been in contact with, are sitting on the sidelines waiting to see if Arrma survives. Let's sure hope so...

I may suggest against using the Tekno orange springs. They ran pretty high for me personally. See the attached image for an idea of what they look like with the spring collars almost completely bottomed out. They're great on the Kraton, but if you're looking for road springs, you may want to look at some of the green versions. I'll try to come up with a part number for you here in a little bit.

Aren't Talion shocks the same as Kraton?

Spring nuts all the way loose plus a 6S battery and it still is too high?

Thanks a lot Dingo if you can help me you would do me a great favor ... but the green one is more stiff than the orange one?
