What's up fellas, new to the forum. I've got a V3 Senton with busted shock caps and literally zero availability for parts at the moment due to the Hobbico bankruptcy which they are telling me potentially May before I'm able to get this thing back up and running. My question to you guys is, do you know of any shock options? I bought a set off ebay but they're from a V2 which will not work with the top bushing on the V3, I'm at wits end here. I've been to my LHS and Hobbytowns looking for 1/8 buggy shocks(only 16mm I know of) that nobody stocks, the biggest prolines are 12mm and I've seen a few random super chinese 16mm's through like Hobbyking or random ebay bs. I'm completely open to another set of shocks but I do not want junk, I'm down with Tekno's or Mugens or whatever or even if anyone knows where I can get AR330337 shock cap set? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Use Hobbytowns main website chat box icon, i was able to chat with them and they found me an arrma Kraton V3 chassis. They can search all their franchises inventories.

Thanks guys, I'm waiting to hear back from Hobbytown and I added those FB groups. We finally have decent weather and my senton has been down for like 2 months now which is unacceptable, to the point I almost bought that new E-Revo which I want no parts of anything traxxas but at least I'd be able to get parts for it. I came to my senses and I'm getting a Kraton as soon as they come off back order, but in the meantime I really want to destroy my buddy's Baja Rey and my little HPI Savage XS is having ESC issues so I'm kind of screwed at the moment.

DO NOT replace the stock caps with the same. The plastic shock cap is the same from the Nero & was designed for the Nero's lay down shocks. They cannot handle bashing in the upright position. Use the V2 shock caps & wrap some electrical tape around the standoff to make up for the gap. I did this with my V3 Typhon after I busted a cap on my first bash & that's the only thing I needed to do to it in 6 months.

That's what I was thinking as well. I have always hated plastic shock caps. Would the metal shock caps from the V3 Kraton below work on the new shocks and standoffs so that you don't need to do the electrical tape fix?

They would work. The electrical tape was I did since I already had some extra V2 shock caps & the aluminum V3 caps are on backorder everywhere too.
