Arrma RC's
  1. Typhon 3s
Hey guys, looking for some input here, as the title says, my Typhon 3s v3 swerves to the right under hard braking. It'll brake straight at first, but at the last second it'll swerve to the right. And whats weird, its to the right MOST of the time, but sometimes will swerve left.
ESC brake setting is still stock. Steering is trimmed up and car drives straight as an arrow. Steering and suspension travel doesn't seem to be binding. Ive got an Annimos 25kg servo & 25T Arrma servo saver. Ive ran stock wheels, Bandito's and Felony Hoons. Still happens regardless of wheels.
Also, in an attempt to clean up some of the slop Ive recently measured and adjusted all upper arms and tie rods so they're symmetrical L to R to within .01mm & maintaining stock negative camber and toe-out. Installed HR steering bell crank, HR pivot balls and also shimmed up the A-arm hinge pins. Definitely eliminated A LOT of the excessive movement, however my problem still persists.

Only other thing that comes to mind is maybe my servo saver is loosing tension? Any thoughts? Or is this normal?

Bearing on its way out possibly?
Hmm didnt think of that. So the steering block bearings on the right side were replaced a few weeks ago. Crashed it, snapped the steering block and got a set from Jenny's. Replaced the entire right side c-hub, block and both bearings. So maybe that right side diff bearing? Wheels seems to spin freely when i remove the center drive shaft tho. But ima re-check that...

Check and double check the bearings on that side. Otherwise I dunno 🤷 just my guess

I bet your c-hub pin is missing on one side. Most likely the right side.

PROBLEM SOLVED!! It was the slipper clutch! Screw slowly worked itself loose! In retrospect, performance was degrading over like 4-5 packs. It was just so gradual i just thought i was 'getting used' to the car! Problem worsened dramatically till I completely lost friction. Tightened the slipper screw, dropped some loctite on the other end and let it sit over night. Took it out today and holifuckingshit it worked!! Car accelerates and brakes in a perfect frickin line! This thing rips again! Woot!
