hi all.....got a question before I call horizon hobby.....have a typhon 3s.....car runs great...after about 10 mins of running.....forward and reverse become unresponsive....steering still works.....turn it off for couple.of minutes turn it back on and will work again for a few minutes then same problem.....all fans running and motor is cold...thanks yall for any insight
 
Your hitting thermal cutoff on the esc as it's too hot. It will stop all movement from the motor but allow the servo to still work and turn. LVC is when the car goes into limp mode and will allow it to still be driven but power reduced to like 25% I'd suggest a better fan for the esc to help.

WHY? We just told you you just need to charge your batteries??

Its goes into limp mode. But after limp mode, it just applies full brakes and only give you the power to steering

NO!!! Just charge your lipos and maybe get higher capacity lipos.

batterie is fully charged
 
under a year into the hobby and still learning as I go.....this is the battery in question

Have you been balance and storage charging it? Not maintaining and taking care of the battery can kill it quickly and cause short run times or puffing. I got a 5200 mAh 3s and it lasts about 15 - 20 minutes for me. I don’t even hit LVC because of how long it lasts.
 
I have the spektrum charger that came with it.....ive gotta another same size battery im gonnagive that a whirl after work and see what happens...thanks again appreciate it
