Today I guess I was out of my mind or something because I let my nephew drive my talion, and the car was going full throttle at the curb. At the last moment he turned the car to the left and the car struck the curb with great force. At first, it looked like the car took the hit fine, but when he tried to accelerate the carot made a really loud, ear piercing scream and the car did not accelerate. The car sounded fine on a lower throttle, however when the throttle reaches the upper range it makes the screaming noise again.

Well, I guess it’s time to throw it away.
Only kidding. Is the screaming sound coming from the motor or do you think it’s down the drivetrain?
I’d be dismantling that thing, for one to find the issue, and two, to get to know more about how it works.
These cars are engineered quite well. The diffs are really easy to get to without tearing things apart much.
Try lifting the vehicle and spinning each wheel to see if the other spins the opposite direction. If it doesn’t, that would be a bad diff.
Let us know what you find.

Thanks. I’ll have a look when I get back. I completely agree about the construction of this car, without a doubt the best car out of the box I have ever had.

I found the problem, thanks for the help. The pinion became dismantled a small bit and moved back on the motor shaft, and the pinion rubbed on the back of the spur causing the noise.
