Im considering a new motor for my kraton, i have the blx200 and primarily run 4s geared with 19t pinion for bashing. Will the leo 4082 2000kv perform better than the stock blx motor or is it just a side step.

Went with Leo V2 4282 2000kv, really 4082 with fins. May update to this thread later for performance update...

17t pinion would be best, punch set to 7. If you are using the 185blx esc.

Has anyone come up with any info on this thread? I am looking to set my kraton on 4s and going to buy a motor that performs best on that voltage

4s use a higher kv !!!! I have the leopard 4092 1730kv works fine on 6s 29/38. Now have a TP 2200kv waiting to go in.

I have the Nero motor in my Kraton, on 4s. 14t or 15t pinion, not sure. Runs great, tons of torque, motor stays cool.

Another good option for a 4s Kraton would be the Castle 1515 2200kv. Get it with the MMX combo, and be able to run it sensored.

The bix185 only has about 1hr on it so I'm just going to get a motor. I have been looking at TP motors. I know the blx system will take 6s but will not be efficient with 4s I want to set it up with what volt I'm going to run so kv is important to voltage

The blx will handle 4-6s but a motor based on 4s will be better than the blx
