Hello everyone,

I have a problem with my kraton.
I try installing a new pinion but it just keeps coming loose after 2 minuets..
The pinion i tried to install is a Team Corally 16T pinion gear.
Tried it 3 times now..
Used blue locktite..

Never had problems before..

Anyone has an solution?

I am sure you put locktite on her maybe not enough and did you let it dry or slapped right on? It took me three tries with mine the stock parts that is.

I use red locktite on my pinion and motor mount screws, including the 3 under the chassis. I also use red on the front and rear input drive cup grub screws. Everywhere else on the truck blue will suffice.I put a drop of red on the grub screw and a drop on the motor shaft underneath the pinion. When drying, I always set the motor on an angle with the shaft down to make sure locktite doesn't get inside the motor. I also allow it to dry for at least 24 hours. Also, Make sure you tighten the grub screw down fairly tight. I'm running a 12 tooth Robinson Racing pinion on 5s and 6s without any issues so far!

Always use red thread lock on your pinion gear. I just watched a video on different brand thread lockers and surprisingly Loctite was one of the worst. Haha

Make sure you tighten the pinion gear down on the flat side of the motor shaft. Spin the shaft to the flat side and tighten down. That's your issue
