Arrma RC's
Well, I have had my eye on the Granite Voltage for a while. I thought the mid-engine chassis was an awesome design and couldn't wait to get one. After a couple runs on the stock setup, my itch to modify got the best of me. So far I've got:
  • Hobbywing Quicrun 10bl60 esc
  • Arrma 3800kV motor with 19T pinion
  • Tactic TTX300 TX/RX
  • Arrma Reciever Box
  • Power HD 20kg Digital Metal Gear Servo
  • Traxxas Steel Turnbuckles to replace the plastic ones
  • Stainless Screws to replace stock ones
  • G-Made XD 85mm Diaphragm Shocks

I's even more of a blast now on 2S. Needs to get better tires on it though for some more traction. Lots of spinning now.

Do you know the part number for the Traxxas turnbuckles? Would like to get a set for my Granite. Thanks!

Looks great!! I just picked up a couple brand new granite voltage off tower hobbies, wife and I want to get back into it.

Looks really great! Do you find that the drivetrain handles the extra power? you don't have issues with the outdrives?

Also, the screws upgrade i didnt think of, but it's really nice, where can i find the screws?

Very Nice upgrades and it looks so clean:). Can we see it in action?

Oh nice! Was it easy to mod? I just got mine today and eventually want to go brushless.

Did you happen to use stock servo saver with turnbuckles or is that something upgraded as well to fit steering

Pretty sure it's TRA3645 for the toe links and TRA3643 for the rear camber.
For the front turnbuckles do you remember what size screw you used to replace those lil balls you have to remove? I was looking on the exploded view at the parts and it may look like a m4x10 or do not sure. I am assuming you did screw it into the servo saver as well right

Did you also replace the plastic rods with aluminum? I’m doing the same with my Fazon.

I didn't have them installed on my Voltage. I just commented on what I believe he used.

I just took the TRA3645 links off my wide armed Rustler. I tried them on my Voltage today then used M3X16 bolts and 3mm locknuts on the TRA1844 servo saver that I am using on the servo. Use the same size bolt for the steering knuckle.

Ok yea definitely wasn’t gonna fit straight on the existing servo but I need take apart and see if I could use the nuts on it. Got the rear camber ones in they were direct fit. Thanks for info ?

For that servo saver to fit Arrma does it need any mods or does it fit with like the Arrma 3s 7kg one. Bought a 6s servo to go on my granite 4x4 putting that stock 3s onto voltage

The TRA1844 servo saver I have, no it doesn't need any mods it will fit the stock Arrma servos. I took it off my Stampede and using the Kimbrough 124 in my Stampede now. My Voltage came with a crappy black servo saver. The red one the Voltages come with now maybe better I don't know.
