Arrma RC's
I have a arrma typhon with the hobbywing max8 combo. My original transmitter started to play up so I bought a new spektrum dx2e and the range was only about half the distance. So I tried another tactic ttx300 and the range was great for about 15min then same problem loss of signal. No throttle no steering till I started getting closer to it. Im running 16/50 gearing temps cool everywhere. Its not the transmitter, receiver or the batteries. I have checked all wiring for cuts and kinks.

Random thought, but is this happening in the same place with both brands you are using? Asking because it's possible there is another source of 2.4mhz interference that would cause that to happen.

Agree with "thatdrewguy" both tactic and dx2e are not the best went their is interference. I have the same problem with my tactic and cheap transmitters. Only way i know around it is to borrow a friends expensive transmitter to check what is causing it.

Ive been to 3 different parks nothing around at all for interference just grass lol. And tried a few other places all the same. I calibrated the transmitter again today and fitted a new servo and will try it tommorrow. Only thing I can think it now is maybe the esc if I have the same problem. I did noticed it seemed to do it when I was trying to turn around each time to.

Sounds like your browning out, when you make the servo work hard. That would lead to a possible signal loss.
Maybe try a BEC
