Hey Guys,
Just wanted to start a thread showing off the newest addition to my Arrma Garage.
Here is a brief rundown of whats been done prior to it's maiden run.
During teardown I discovered the car was not in terrible shape and the rtr crew did a mostly ok job. Here are a few things of note from that process.
I am sure I will think of more later but here is the initial list of things I want to get done to it in the short term.
Just wanted to start a thread showing off the newest addition to my Arrma Garage.
Here is a brief rundown of whats been done prior to it's maiden run.
- Complete tear down
- Bulletproofing for all three diffs
- Fast Eddy bearing kit
- Hobbywing Max8 combo
- Associated hex extenders
- Voltage Hobbies Chassis braces, servo mount and steering rack
- Tekno 18t pinion
- Cut down a stock motor mount to make the front diff brace
- T-Bone front and rear bumpers
- Stole the Yeah racing fan/heatsink from my outcast
- Fiberglass tape+E6000+bedliner inside the body
- Grabbed a set of Duratrax Lockups to test cause they were cheap (not pictured)
During teardown I discovered the car was not in terrible shape and the rtr crew did a mostly ok job. Here are a few things of note from that process.
- Several loose screws
- A couple over-tightened screws resulting in stripped plastic threads
- Over use of lock-tite substance in several areas, front bearing on the rear diff case was caked full of it
- Mostly empty front diff
- 1 shock low on oil
I am sure I will think of more later but here is the initial list of things I want to get done to it in the short term.
- High voltage capable receiver
- Savox 1210sg
- The rest of the things Voltage Hobbies makes for this buggy
- probably a new motor depending on how the hobbywing does
- probably some suspension changes
- Proline MX 28's
