Hello.
I've recently rebuilt my Kraton with upgrades. I installed a red can Nero motor and an mmx esc.

During its maiden run yesterday I may have run it too hard at 1st. It kept cutting out after a couple hard pulls and then the neighbors tall grass, so I pulled it in and the motor was HOT. Should have checked sooner but didn't realize itd heat up that quick.

So, I'm adding fans and a cap pack. All the Nero platform rigs with that motor have a small cap pack. It prolly goes without asking whether I need to add one?

Guess I'm curious to see some pix of your cap packs?
-where you installed, etc.?

I'm gonna buy a Yeah Racing fan set up. Could anyone recommend one? Link please?

Killmode has various cap packs: https://www.killmoderc.com/online-store

Mounted my 6pack 13,200uf where the stock esc was originally mounted.

joos, thanks. See, I forgot about Killer Mode. I have one if theirs that's singled all the way across, narrow.
Don't know how I've ended up with 3 all like that but I forgot how they can double them, side by side like that. That'll sure help.
I'm gonna try and used that Mamba Racing dude. That's all he does is cap packs a d will do anything custom.

But j, thanks also for the pic. It helps me generate my own ideas. Also, how bout a review on your Yeah Racing fan set up please?
Please, keep em coming peeps.

Nice red paint

The yeah racing heatsink fan required me to use some computer graphics card thermal pad material in order for it to be fully secure on tp 4070 motor. I only wish it was a bit longer for the length of my motor.

joostin, Im sitting here, lol I’m always sittin (paraplegic humor) looking at your pic.

I’m so glad I’m not the only one that’ll build them for the shelf duty. I gotta ask. Why didn’t you replace the servo horns (arms) on that beauty of yours. One of my favorite I might add. It looks like an upgraded Summit, lol. And I like my Summits too.

Thanx :) You are not the only one to ask about the servo horn and arms being stock and plastic. I had to leave somewhere cheap enough to allow some give just in case. I also have run the stock steering hubs and rear hubs. Those were the cheapest points since I run hr full bulkheads front and rear with carbon fiber shock towers.

I do run the projects I build - most of them... I am just pretty careful and don’t jump and destroy them. The only rc out of like 20 :D I don’t run is my fazon hd build - it is just a beauty and collectible in my eyes.
