Hobbywing Max 5 fan upgrade?

Looking at 3rd fan down and that will not fit due to smaller size. I am guessing the 2nd fan down is just the stock fan.

Could try a WTF 40mm fan, but would have to figure out a way to attach it since it's smaller. More RPM's, probably more air flow.

Is the Max5 giving you heat issues?

Yesterday i ran wide open for a solid 20min straight, I stopped for a minute to check on things and remove the lid. The max 5 was flashing green and no throttle which was strange because I only stopped the truck to check on things. About 2min later green led stopped flashing and was back to normal.

It was really like a constant speed run for 20min so I can see why it would thermal

Does anyone know the dimensions of the Yeah racing fans?

30x30x10 mm. Just had to replace one. I used a HR 30x30x7.5 mm one I had and its working great.

Thank you I think I’m going to try wtf fans my yeah racing one broke and I accidentally put my hexdriver in the other and broke 2 blades

Yes! The one in my My K8s gets worm after 2 minutes of bashing, the fan still blows but maybe my leopard 58113 just too much for her?

I’m sick of my stock fans smashing to bits on my max 5’s in K8 and outcast 1/5 when bashing. Any suggestions guys
