My choice is between Talion, Mojave, Typhon.

Typhon 6s is the most versatile vehicle.

Only $290 for a BLX senton on scratch and dent on tower, I find 3s lineup can be very frustrating but fun too.
Yes, I was just not able to really ascertain how deep the original poster wanted to get into the hobby for their first step.

We must have gotten one of the "good" Sentons..... My wife has thoroughly tried to destroy hers, and so far she has only shredded two rear tires.

Forgot about the big rock, it's just a hard question to answer with minimal information
Well, I guess I just should have said get a bunch of big ones and don't limit yourself to just one or two

People may have their own experiences, but in my experience with the 3s line, problems only arose when I tried to overpower them and/or use them beyond their intended capabilities. Mine currently run close to factory spec Hobbywing electronics and stay close to the ground, and have not had significant issues after dozens of packs.

Yes, it has stock electronics and she does not try to send it out into space.

But she did send it on some amazing cartwheels, and went full speed into a pole and a concrete barricade

First look at where you can drive. No use getting a Kraton 6s if you do not have the space to drive. Or a 3s Typhon if you drive in thick sand.

Then look if you want the 3s or 6s series. You will get a second car over time and it makes sense if you can use existing batteries.

Welcome...you are amongst a lot of older friends here. Enjoy and good luck with a selection!
