I know @KnowAir posted about this earlier this month, but the Redcat Kaiju (OG) is on sale for $329.49 when you use code "DD062922" on the redcat website.

I would seriously buy one myself.... But I haven't been able to sell off my old stuff yet to make room in the stable!

HaHa! I soo wanted to buy an EXT, but..apparently I have to list things for sale before anyone can buy!? Oh well..guess I won't be picking up an EXT anytime soon🤣🤣

Do people really pay $600 for this?! I just don't see it..different strokes I guess.

Always looking around for the best deal on a Tekno MT410. Tower Hobbies now has them for $369.99 and if you're a Premier member, you can use a $75 off of $370 coupon (or else $55 off of $370 for non-members - but you might as well pay $9.99 to become a member to save an extras $20). Throw in a $1 sticker to push it over $370 or order an aluminum servo horn which is needed anyway and you can get an MT410 for $295.00. Crazy.

Whats the original price?

Whats the original price?

They were $449 in 2021 and then took a price hike to $479. Went on "clearance" at amain for $369 ... and now the price seems to have settled at $369 everywhere. The icing on the cake is Tower Hobbies coupons apply so you can get another 20% off of the price (versus Horizon products where retailer coupons do not apply).

I bought a few weeks ago at $370, and still thought it was a decent price. Kind of bummed I didn't see that deal through tower though!

Still a great price on a great rc👌
Bought mine in '20, was $449 used tower coupon to bring it down to $390.
Considering a conversion on it, either stretch it to ET or narrow it down to SCT.. I'm running on a track most of the time these days. Probably come down to whichever is cheaper TBH.

One of these days I’m going to try a lightweight build and run the tires from the Mojave on it. Trying to research on how well a Max10 SCT and some variation of a motor (TP Power or some generic 3670) on 4S would work.

Sounds interesting. Currently running mine on BLX 185 system with DTX blinders tires, 16t pinion, 4s. Plenty of speed and grip, but hard to keep straight over the bumps and whoops. I have the speed on track to run with 6s talion, sludge, erevo,ect..but tracking is a handful with the short wheelbase. It's a small track which doesn't allow 6s to strecth their legs..too rough for 1/10 scale though.
Guess I just answered my own question..too rough for 1/10 means I need to stretch the MT to ET🤔🤣

I seem to recall @razorrc in one of his mt410 videos saying he used the blx120 system and it was cool and had plenty of power. I'm currently running the 4074 firma motor on a 130a spektrum esc, copperheads, and a 14t pinion I had (all spare parts from other stuff). I haven't yet had a maiden run, but from my shake downs on the street, the temps seemed fine. I'll let you know how the 130a esc holds up.

Based on that I'd think the max10 sct in a lightweight build would be just fine.

I’ve got a max10 sct in my SCT410.3 and a 3660 3200kv on 3s it’s very fast and light weight. A similar setup on the mat would be great with a different motor for 4S. The max10 sct is a great esc though!
