Strapped it to the spoiler then this happened as the Talion pulled a bigger than expected wheelie. Glad it was cheap, lol.

The spoiler is not a good place for a GPS, lol. It needs to go under the body. But even at that, they can still get damaged and lost. I know from experience!

Like bickety said unless you are positive you can keep all four wheels on the ground better to keep it under the body.

Sigh.......... when you are like me you use your phone.... and...well... you look foolish with a cracked screen.................. I told the wife it happened when I dropped it. ........ I might be going to hell but I will confess my sins before I die............ hopefully!!!

I just use an old phone. The GPS still works even if the phone isn't activated.

This is why I'm skeptical about using my $800 phone as a GPS.

As the GPS watch is broken I've returned to using my phone. It gets strapped to the top of the spoiler with elastic bands and this has worked OK for me. I can't see me risking a new phone when I get one though, so will either need a new compact GPS unit or a cheap SIM for this old S7.

I use an old garmin nuvi, stupid thing was a small fortune when new and has been banging around in my trunk for 5+ years unused. I have another smaller one somewhere that my wife had in her car.

The nuvi has a bit of road rash from skidding across the pavement, but still gives me max speed.

That was me checking the speed of my stampede 4x4 with cast sct sv3/3800kv on 2S with 14/54 gearing. I ended up using 13/54 as 14/54 felt a bit soft off the line. Now I run 3S with I think 11/54 and haven't really had a chance to run it yet.
