Do you think the proline mx38 or the trenchers 40 are so big ?
Or it's better To run with more little tires like the shockwaves or the badlands.
Thanks
They are to big in my opinion. On 6s they upset the car. Plus they catch on the body at the front unless you extend the hubs.
I have a set a 3:2 fastrax they are good for bashing and big jumps. They don't wear like shockwaves and for me lots cheaper to buy. The shockwaves are an awesome choice they lasted nine months on my outcast

Mine is a beast with the Backflips! Mostly bash in really loose terrain, but pretty much great anywhere.

I just recently got a set of back flips as well and I am in love with them! They have small amount of ballooning but for the cushion and knobs on them I thought they would be worse. Increased ride hieght too. They do weigh about 3lbs which is slightly heavy but let’s be honest the talk on is a beast and can easily handle them. Best bang for buck tire IMO.

I agree for the cost they're great but as you mentioned, heavy. I ran em on my E-Revo 2 and it held up well. I also ran em a bit on my Talion V3 but once I went to Terrain Crushers I prefered those. Very nice on the Outcast / Noto. I've also never had a prob ballooning or coming unglued on 6s. @werner sline shaved his backflips for less weight and I like this idea a lot especially for Talion. I have a second set I may try shaving.

I thought about running SRC terrain crushers but they just don’t have the rubber to take a good bashing. As far as street goes I run them and love them. But I just can’t see a low profile rubber like that giving enough cushion to get big air.

I agree it's not a good tire for air. It's good for where I am though and the Talion gets more street and low-cut grass time than any other truck I own.. Handles like a dream for me. I have a 16T pinion to go in and Voltage chassis braces, wing support mount thing and rear skid plate that I couldn't get to today. I'm thinking for now, I'll leave it low profile and keep the jumps to a minimum.
