Motor connectors swapped over to 6.5mm, mounted with 25t pinion. Wiring straightened out and completed. Just waiting on the rear motor braces to arrive from England :geek:

I see you remove your center roll cage often on your Arrma cars to re-locate the speed controller. I saw this on your Kraton build, and now also with the Senton. Aren't you afraid the body won't be supported enough without the rollcage? The rollcage has a purpose right?

I have never had a internal rollcage on any rc in 30 years :geek: I also don’t drive it like I stole it either :ROFLMAO:

:p haha, that explains it a lot. I guess you don't really need the roll cage if you are not crashing hard on the roof of your car regularly. I like to do big jumps with my Arrma's and the landings don't always work out the way I planned . So I need that roll cage for extra insurance :giggle:

I have been searching for 5x months for the 40mm nitro exhaust mounts to use as motor mount/braces like I used in my Kraton with the tp 4070cm 2200kv. Finally found a seller in England and bought the last 3x he had real fast :D

Drilled recessed hole in chassis for the rear motor brace aligned for the 25t pinion :) Now just need to polish the screw and mount the yeah racing twin fan on the motor.

More progress tonight; things are coming together nicely. Wired the yeah racing twin fans, adjusted stock esc mount to accommodate the killmode cap pack, and mounted the battery tray/receiver box :geek:

Oh yes :D Still going to be a while; body mounting will take some time. Again, body work is my least favorite part - that is why I started body first on this build. Going to do the same for another identical body.

When the wheels were mounted to the hexes and tightened they where hard to rotate. The inside of the wheel hub was just a hair too deep and caused binding.

1mm thick spacers inside the wheel hub did the trick ;) Had to purchase them though for a few dollars since I don’t have a 3D printer, but it was worth it.

You said the front is low frequency springs, are they like a buggy spring

The oringinal installation at the start were the low frequency springs but they were just too soft with the weight of the graphene 6s 6000mah brick. I swapped over to the Tekno orange springs above I originally was going to use on my Kraton build.
