ok just curious what do yall 6s bashers run as far as lube in your front/rear diff housings?
I use similar stuff. I was using a gold colored generic axle grease I got at autozone a decade ago, but found 2 tubes of general purpose black stuff on a shelf and started using that recently. It's what's on my front diff. Although, it felt "lighter" than the axle grease. Like butter vs crisco.Have always used super tech lithium grease from Walmart
Keep the land vehicles out of water and save yourself a lot of headaches Get a boat for water - get a deep v first
Lol no joke dude.. Its an old trick with my tc's and i guess it's just habit now. LolHaha WTF
Drag racing? From what I gather, the thicker oil in the front, the less steering you have. What would be the point in running 100,000 in the front
Do you run your ring and pinion dry like no grease inside the bulkhead? cause i been running mine dry for a couple packs no issuesI run marine grease in my Talion and just as a trial run I put Lucas Engine oil treatment in my Outcast/Kraton it’s like 1M weight Traxxas oil I’ve noticed when pulling diff housing covers off the grease slings and sticks to the housing and doesn’t do much for the actual diff I’ve had no leaks or seepage so far

I usually do but everytime i pop open the diff cases their full of dirt&grease seems like it just attracts the dirt more than anything and it flings off the gears within the first runThat's not a good idea. The only one you run dry is the center spur and pinion. You need to grease the front and rear.
Its greased from factory right? That's not a good idea. The only one you run dry is the center spur and pinion. You need to grease the front and rear.
