Kraton I hate body mounted LED lights. Anyone have lights that mount on the frame or bumper?

Arrma RC's
The LED lights that mount on the body are such a hassle with all the wires going everywhere and the roof mount lights don't last long when bashing around. Does anyone have any resources for LED lights that mount directly on the frame or the bumper so the wires can be tucked in a tie wrapped nice and neatly and so the power can come from the receiver, instead of a separate battery?

Thanks for the link, I really like the way that bumper looks, but dang, I can't find it anywhere. It seems that T-bone racing may have discontinued it. If anyone can find that bumper in stock, a link would be appreciated.

The lights I used were under $2 from China, the remote switch was $12 from Apex. I know this isn't an Arrma truck but I plan on doing this same setup on my Notorious.

I attached a 6” curved proline light bar behind the t-bone bumper. Made a mounting plate out of a old battery tray. It worked great. It was set back just enough that the bumper protected it.

Thats the bumper I have on my Talion now and I like it a lot. I also like that you could fit the light bar back enough to where its still protected. Looks good!

I am searching the posts and I see some about adding LEDs to their RCs, but I have yet to find anything on HOW you hook them up. Do you put inline with the battery? If you connect some way to the ESC, then how? Thank you for your time.

Futaba connector on a servo cable. Then it plugs into your receiver.

Do you want to put under glow like Fast and Furious? ? jk... I put lights in the bumper of my X Maxx and honestly I regret it, so when they break I’ll rip em. Kinda like those kids shoes that light up, gets old fast and feels kinda kiddy after a while

I have lights on two trucks now. One came stock (MT10E) and one I put a kit on (Slash VXL) Basher trucks too rather than crawlers that almost *should have some lighting.
So far, none have broken and all work well and it's been almost two years. I like leds because the instal is fun and cheap to personalize vehicles. otoh, I have most other rigs that don't have lights and probably wont do it except I have one more kit ready to install. If they break, they break ...and no harm no foul. But so far no breaking and fun for photos and showing off. Much more durable than I expected and cool to run in the evening in the street in front of my home. I just found the light kit I thought I lost and will probably stick it on the BRCC that I bash tf out of. Hopefully this week. ;)?⚡

Have pics of having them installed already? I have a simular set lying around & would install them, thinking of fitting them in the bumpers. did you?

For a while I thought LEDs would be silly but since I run quite often in the evenings/dusk I find they help me know which way the truck is aiming when it's far away. Mine are connected to the third channel so I can turn them on/off with the controller also.

I never put em on and now cant remember where I put the kit. I busted the original brcc body up bad so maybe I'll put em on the new lid once i get it painted.

So many options to do so.. You can buy sets of LEDs from china.. Like these..

Just drill holes in your bumper, so that the thread part of LED fits through.. Tighten the hex ring.. And done..

You can also try to message "Murat-RC" for a custom set.. He makes model specific sets.. 3D printing a bracket.. Fitting the wired leds.. Just screw them on with included longer screws..

And here a video on how it works on a traxcrap.. Its in dutch.. But video itself will tell the tale.. ;)
