General RC Information
This was necessary as a post-crash rebuild following a terrible shunt that caused catastrophic damage and wiped out the whole front of the rig. I actually considered parting it out and writing it off, and I probably would have if I would have realized earlier that the chassis was bent and twisted. By the time I pulled it apart and discovered that, I had already been buying parts for quite some time. After the crash, I brought all of the pieces home and put it on the shelf where it sat for almost three years. I spent that time buying parts little by little, and managed to get pretty much everything on sale except the Vitavon stuff. I ended up doing a complete build on a new chassis with literally every nut and bolt touched. Now that it’s complete I’m very glad that I kept it, especially after learning that Losi discontinued the DBXL-E. This rig is certainly the Crown Jewel of my RC stable. Build sheet is as follows:
