Big Rock with Proline Raptor Body

So, it worked fine first 4 runs, but now I do not have Blast Mode. I believe the truck stays in wheelie mode, and I do not hear the Nero change into Blast mode but I can hear each of the other mode changes. Where would I look first to troubleshoot why there is no blast mode?

My first try at running the tp4070 in the Nero was ok but I wanted lower cg so i cut and stretched the frame.

Looks like AR330340 shock shafts are on back-order until the end of April. Can I use a shock from a different manufacture or model? Does anyone know what could get me up and running while I wait for the replacement part?
