1/24 crawlers

I know there’s a bunch of us with 1/24 crawlers anyone have one of the Furitek Cayman pros yet? I’ve been researching different body’s for them the FMS power wagon is where the body comes from. Anyone with either havdd Ed canyon body options?

I'm so close to buying one of these... it's a pretty awesome setup right out of the box, not too many things that would need to be added or changed other than maybe a servo horn and mess around with different tires... I would love to hear some feedback from anyone with one

I bought a RTR and a barebones (should be here Wednesday) the RTR the first of April is what there telling me. I have a bunch of tires I’m going to try. I got the high clearance links for furitek as well.

This one is on my radar too. Haven't seen any easy body swaps yet. If it helps that body is closer to 1/18 than 1/24 scale.

For comparison, my FCX24 which uses the same body and axles next to my 1/18 Toyota.

The barebones chassis showed up today. This this is cool, hopefully I’ll get some time this weekend to mess with it.

I haven’t jumped into the small scale stuff but this catches my eye

I went crawler crazy 12-13 years ago Had 5 rigs about 5 years ago someone made me an offer for them (wanted my XR10 BAD ) I said I get to keep one I picked the wraith kit I build. I had 2 complete sets of XR10 wheels with the weight system so I Kept one for the wraith with a set of Rock beast xor tires. When my son wanted a scx24 I was like ok then I got one and next thing I got 5 then I’m breaking out my 1/10 rig.

That thing is cute as hell.

I got a couple of stockers for the wife and I to take with us the Jeepers Jamboree on the Rubicon this year, I figure there will be a ton of people with crawlers there. the 4ws one is really neat.

That explains a lot. not alot of options if you want furitek stuff unless you go straight to Furitek.

So the furitek Cayman kit with the motor and drive shafts showed up yesterday with the Hiroyama pro. I noticed the barebones and the kit with the motor have different shocks the motor version has way nicer shocks. We’ve been into the 1/24 scale lately it’s just so easy and you can drive anywhere. The Hiroyama is fast fast for a little rig. I’m waiting for some MOFO tires.

Ok, million dollar question for all the 1/24 crawler junkies... if you could only have one, and budget was unlimited, what would you go with and why?

Yes, this and the ax24 but the Furitek is the best crawler I’ve owned.

I ordered a second one. I’m going to put the komodo in one after I switch from driving the cayman to the AX24 the throttle seems so unrefined. I installed a set of powerhobby 54mm shocks was well.
