I was trying to find how to use my 12mm hex wheels with my Senton mega. I found ones that will fit on the wheel axles, Tekno will fit. I put some of my wheels and tire sets on to see what fits. I have some Dynamite Speedtreads Breakaway , J-Concepts G locks and some K-Force beadlocks with dirt tires. The only problem I had was with the J-concepts Hazard wheels rubbing on the steering knuckles. I also have some Traxxas Slayer with 14mm hexes that also rubbed on the steering knuckles . So far these Tekno hexes are the only ones that I found to fit on the Senton/Granite wheel axles.

Thanks for posting this. I’ve been looking for some 12mm hex nuts that will fit my daughters Granite Mega 4x4 for a while now. I will definitely get some ordered ASAP.

Any suggestions when buying tires which one's fit better standard or half inch offset?

1/2" offset will work also I have a set of Dynamite brand that fit well . No clearance issues with their wheels that fit 12mm hexes.

I bought the Teknos for my Granite build (rolling chassis) and find they ought to be deeper. The axles have some lateral play due to the Tekno hex not being as deep as stock. I'm going to try a washer/spacer behind the pin.

Edit to not double post:
I picked up some stainless 6mm washers at Lowes for about $2. Hillman #882098. I placed them behind the pin with 2 of the slim shims (that come with the Tekno kit) between it and the bearing. I put the Tekno hex over and tightened down and there is now that much less play.
