Servo arriving today.i went with this hobbystar..it'll be my 3rd hobbystar an will continue to buy them.very happy with the 2 i have.they have comparable performance as the 100$ savox ones ive had.actually they have been better in my experience with both brands..all 3 have cost under 50$paid 35$ for this one.

Check out the DS3225 Coreless (blue). Faster transit speed, higher torque, $30

Installing servo an run it possibly today, definitely tomorrow. I've tried alot of servos.anyone looking for a new servo?? Heres 5$ off for rcjuice.these hobbystars are the best bang for buck ones ive found 33$ for a 8.4v is a steal

XXL typhons 2nd pass and 1st log.on 7s basher packs..had a loose motor wire.been having problems with sodoring these bigger connectors.think i need to take a sodoring class..burnt out on sodoring.. literally
Cars went super strait .definitely a difference in driving these 2.mostly the width being the biggest. Senton6 suspension make XL hard to see far down the rode, turning around can be a challenge,to much throttle an it'll be in ditch.
Fix some things an run them both tomorrow. Gotta take advantage of this 50 degree wheather..

I've been considering one of those as well. I also try to support rcjuice when I can as they are a small Cali business and have been great to me. Also nice they are about 3 hrs away and located just outside of Sacramento so shipping is always only 2-3 days to me at most. Coupon is for minimum $50 purchase though just a heads up and it's not a one time use the code doesn't change so can be used multiple times 👍

Alright I been super busy an kinda slacking on this thread..first 8s pass with 34/40 109mph.did second 8s pass 39/40. 119 mph without breaking a sweat.got 39/34 in it now an waiting for more gears still..expecting a 130ish with this gearing...might get a pass in it today.a little steeper jump in gear than I'd like, but thats all I have right now.plan on going 5/8ish on first pass...also my jrc 2.8 gp5 diffs alive today..almost 30mph jump from the 3.3s..ill have to start over with gp5s.
I also just ordered 5660 d-wind tp little less kv to try.

back when I was about to buy my first 6s ride an was modifying my 2-1/10th arrmaz with 6s systems.i started researching an learning wye an delta motors an how they work.so when buying motors I always alternate them...I like to compare, try as many different things an take in as much as I can an learn what works an what don't...like you,but you go far more in depth of testing an researching.im all about more power.truthfully ive never been about to tell a difference in a y &d..im hoping on this 1/5 level ill see a difference in performance between the 2.....I wanted something as close to 1460 as I could buy NOW..im a spontaneous buyer, after lots of research of course...so I went with this 5660-1356kv.same size an weight,an as close as I could find to compare to 1460...researching logs between the 2 with identical gearing will be fun for me....only thing different is I ordered this one with open caps..wanna try some sort of ram air also a test some temps after identical runs between the y & d.never had a 200$ tp4070cm.
But I could imagine it could outperform this 160$ 5660-1460...most definitely wouldn't run as cool as it...

They are really similar indeed, except for the windtype, so it will definitely be a good comparison. I expect the 1460 will win on efficiency, but the 1356 could in disregard of efficiency handle more amps/gearing.

You not experiencing any sync issues with a 6pole on the xlx2 made me buy a 6p motor to ;) But I am still cautious on d winds. Castle only selling wye winds ,in my point of view, means their firmware will always be better optimized for wye winds

So I was gonna try an run car ,but I won't have new gnss till tomorrow. So ya can't ever go over car to much in speedrunnning..when you get above 120s screws seam to back out fast an often on runs.loc-tite an torches on an for everything.hot racing delrin caps will always go on any of my speedcars in the future.they tighten the front end up much better than stockand don't hender steering near as bad then tight..plus they look damn good..at 10$ its a great speed mod..I constantly go over every screw aFter every run.especially spool an input gear cups..don't want them coming apart an damage 100s $$$ in electronics. It's always put O-rings up against 17 mm hex then wheel nut doesn't back off an strip hex on wheel of worst...I've ruined at least 5 good tires/wheels from this...more power ya make the more they do this.o-rings will save ya money an disgust from ruining a new 25$+++++ wheel.heres a couple, this proline mx m2 hurt, almost new set that cost 45 for 2..remember these are things that work for me,I'm just try to save others from making $tupid mi$takes ive made an these thing$ work for me .wasting $$$ makes the hobby hard to enjoy.im sure there's many better ways.this is what I've had on hand an worked

So while waiting on gears an gnss ill go throu infraction gp5 diffs checking for sloop between ring & pinion,an fill both with 20mil.with this setup will gain 28-30 mph with swap.pending on setup on gp5 gains..most around 30mph thou.imo the best thing about running these besides the extra speed is it slows down everything from diffs back to motor....spool,center shafts, input gear cups.just these things have a minimum or 5 grub screws that must stay secure.if not a center shaft flying around at speed in between motor, esc, packs can be very costly.less rpms in between diffs an motor is what ya always want.less stress an failure with less rpms..diffs are far cheaper than electronics..
IM SUPER EXCITED IF THE STOCK ARRMA DIFFS CAN TAKE THIS SYSTEM..ONLY ADDING 20M AN SHIMS IF NEEDED.system put out 9.6hp with 253 amps on its 2nd 8s pass just testing withe super short gearing an ran 119.my power PB was this 14hp+ pull drag racing mmx8s an tp4050cm 2300kv with a whopping 400+ amps.
Xlx2 & tp5660 could crank out 20hp...this car also weights over 10lbs w/o packs...if the mostly stock arrma rear diff can handle the weight+power id be very surprised.thats the kind of torture test i like most

What would I be looking for, when you sa sync issues. Xlx2 an 5660 has ran smooth throuout rpm range an only problem ive had in about 5 pulls an some street bashing was turning around at end of road.seamed to loose signal an drive off in ditch slowly at least ,besides that, totally impressed.big improvement in all areas.length helps control an drivabilty.than then smooth power for days.did you get the 1460kc? 4060 and 4050cm have been my most powerful motors till 1460..can't imagine a 4070 could have the power of this 1460🤷‍♂️behind your xlx2 i think you'll be very please with it👍.shot into the 140s feeding off each other on what works an what don't.

@jondilly1974 you should consider one of these 55mm motors.the extra weight might help you stay planted, about 300-400 grams difference from 1727 .i gonna give mine so he'll this week when it drys..i going for 130s by the end of this weekend...more rain today😡😖😡

I have a 2028-1100kv motor, just haven’t ran it yet. My last parts for the MEXB build should be here soon. It’s raining the next few days but I might have it ready for the weekend to run it.

Sync issues should stop the rpm from increasing at high rpm/Pmax.
I've ordered a TP 5840L-3Y, internally/spec is identical to the 5660-3y -1460KV

I do expect my 4070 (3rd one) should be able to do 145+. My first one on my Hobao did ~147. I've only beaten it once with the limitless in an invalid run/crash.
My bend chassis and some other things i've noticed during my current rebuild were holding it back some. All tiny details add up. As for your 4050cm, from what i've seen at your logs, you do have an exceptional good one that seems to match near 4070cm performance.

Think I ordered wrong notorious wing..lol 1/5???,ill cut it down an try it out ,sounds like a 4s wing speedrun comparison in near future. Thi

I made the same mistake ordering an 8s Kraton wing from Jennys. Gotta pay more attention when getting excited about something being in stock😂
