2 new bodies!

4s kraton and PL typhon body. Used traxxas and tamiya paint. Can't say I'm thrilled with the traxxas stuff. A big can of metallic black (looks awesome btw) died before I finished 1 body. The inner workings of the can itself, not the nozzle, just stopped. Left it in the sun for a few hours and it came back.... but for how long. Took a FULL 5oz can to get the tint on the bodies done. It's so crazy transparent, but got the look I was looking for. The silver felt like it had zero pressure behind it, where the orange felt like I could launch a rocket with its pressure. At least the traxxas colors look great, really pop.
Big thanks to @332_RC for the AF stickers! Both rigs are swb. The k4 body fits the n6 really well.

Roof skids, and reinforcement next. Gonna weigh the k4 body before and after to see how much weight is added.

I had a look again, that Typhon body is pretty cool! Like a truggy. Does it have the front knuckles I sent you? With the longer steering plate screws? It's wide too. Nice build!

Mojave arms, kraton hubs, 10mm extensions and asuga tires. Semi truggified I guess. The parts you sent are for the stretch kraton, starting to pick at them now

E6000 and mesh tape added. Total body weight 8oz, 1.6oz is the reinforcement.
I know others have used e6000 with success before, but this damage is unacceptable. Just happy this wasn't a shelf body, but one that will get trashed. Will not be using it in place of shoegoo again. Paint had 1 week to cure, happened on both tamiya ps paints and traxxas paint. Can see where it shrunk the paint and caused light gaps, where the mesh tape got pushed onto the lexan and where it turned the paint a white, hazey color.
