Sup!
This is my 2018 Typhon 6s. I think it's basically a V2 that was set up for speed runs before I got it.
I like the way it handles, but sometimes I like to off-road bash so the 15mm hex extenders gotta go. Feels like they throw off the geometry & are killing wheel bearings . But that could also be from the Mojave wheels/tires that I run sometimes. I've had to replace the wheel nuts because the ones that came with the extenders would come off one to many times.
Lately I've ran into some issues with the old Futaba servo going out (I'm gonna miss that lightning response) & the center diff pretty much melting the mounts. I did curb it once at full throttle on the left front, so new upper arms went eventually needed.
So far I've added a 2 Channel RC Light switch, replaced the servo with an Amazon 35kg special that required me to shim the servo mount for it to fit. Servo arm is just about in the same place, but it's still slightly taller. Not as quick as the Futaba, but it will do.
Next came the later versions sliding motor mount and necessary accessories. But that roasted diff melted the composite front mount of the center diff.
GPM Alloy Front center diff mount & Hot Racing Aluminum center diff brace/cover are on the way
I'm not into sending TAZ to the moon yet, but when I get to that point I'll look into a new chassis, Front & rear braces.
Let me know what you think.
Eventually I'll get another RC for off-road bashing, but I'll be methodically upgrading this rig over time, having a blast, a few fits, bouts of cursing, ect. along the way.

It came with:
• An 18T pinion
• Limitless white hoons
• 15mm hex extenders
• A 12-14 LED multi-pattern light kit
• RPM front bumper
• Rear wheely bar
• A really quick Futaba S9372SV servo
• 2 Power Hobby 50c 3s Batteries
• Tactic TTX300 transmitter

My plans so far are to:
• Stockpile street tires
• Widen the track with Mojave EXB control arms & CVDs all around.
• Use Aluminum Kraton Hubs, CVD axle ends & Hexes.
• Upgrade to an Infraction 46t spur center diff with an aluminum diff case, proper shims & 500k-1mil diff fluid
• Rebuild & shim front & rear diffs with aluminum cases & spiral cut gearsets (Maybe 29mm LSD diffs)
• Install Castle BEC and up the voltage to the 8.4v the Tactic 326 receiver & new servo can handle.
• Raise the rear body mounts slightly for more space & cooling
• Redo & replace the front LED lights & reroute the wiring
• Rebuild the rear shocks because I suspect one shaft is bent.
• Replace rear shock tower that is know is definitely bent now.
• Install another bumper or skid plate on the rear.
