Does anyone know of any 23mm hex adaptors that I could put on my Kraton?
My brother had a set of wheels from one of his old rc trucks that has a 23mm hex that I think would work really well on my Kraton, but I can't find anything online to get to a 23mm hex.

Hi

Are these what you have on your Kraton right now?

If so then the answer is no you cant use the adapters I posted or the hex's you posted. The adapters I posted wont fit at all, and the hex's you linked to would only work if you got these part to replace your stock parts. In the end you are looking at almost $80.00 to do the swap.

Thanks for the info guys, it appears that it's not really feasible to use the tires my brother has.

I've been busy this weekend working on the tires to fit and I finally got them on yesterday afternoon!
My brother gave me a set of 4 proline bowtie 1151 tires that have a 24mm hex (originally thought they were 23mm)
Here is the list of parts I used;
HPI 102530, 24mm hex
AR310451 Senton CVD hubs
AR310431 Senton rear hubs
5mm hex screws
First step, remove Kraton hubs and stub axles.
Next, grab the Senton axles and cut approximately 3/8" off the end of each stub axle so it doesn't stick out past the hub adapter.
Then cut the screws so they don't bottom out on the hub pins before they tighten down fully.

Now, install pin through axle, slide on hub adapter, and put screw in with RED loctite (VERY IMPORTANT)
Then install wheel onto hub and tighten down.
Let loctite set and go bashing!

I am a little confused how you ised the hpi adapters with threadless senton hubs. The nero have similar hubs. doesn't the factory hex stay on by a pressed pin only? The hpi slide over a pin and would need a wheel nut at the end of the axle. Could you clarify this step some more?

Do your wheel adapters have a pin through design? When i look at them on ebay they are a rest on pin design which is where i see the inherent issue.

the factory hubs on my kraton and senton are both held on with the pin that goes through the hub and the axle. the hpi hubs just slide over the pin that goes through the axle. so after sliding the hub on, I cut a M5 screw down to approximately 5mm of thread, and the head of the screw holds the adapter tight to the axle.

Just an FYI, even with red loctite and letting the loctite cure for 24 hours, I couldn't get the hubs to stay on for more than a minute.

I see so you threaded a screw in the open end to hold lip of the adapter tight to pin. What may work is a set of integy 24 hex that utilize the pin through design. I have some on the way and will post results if it works.

I bought both integy and hpi adapters to try and will see if one or the other works otherwise they go on my savage trucks
