Running outa setups I haven't tried. Heres a funny looking new one.kraton suspension an 1/5 grps..39t spool an 25t pinion for about 65mph on 6s.removed front shaft.see if I can get the 1/5 grps smoking..video?????

I always dig the 'out of the box' way of thinking. If no one thought of something different the world would be a boring place.

You gave up too soon, man. Should have spent at least a couple bills in upgrades, re-thinks and re-trials, spending many hours of your life trying to make it work. Only after numerous fails, an empty bank account, and a divorce decree can you truly call it a fail.

Haven't given up yet,spent most the day trying to go 100mph on 4s..only 94.frustrating $hit.had the day off an it was 60 an sunny.i ripped 3 rides today..broke all 3.lol this typhon also has same mojave chassis..crazy huh.mojave all over even with 4wd like on ice.these 1/5 tires are designed for heavier rcz.once hot they do better..got some p1 softest compound ill try.

Since we're thinking out of the box....how about removing the rear shaft and have all power to the front...?
Maybe controllable and have a better top speed with the added power of driving only two tires...? just thoughts.
I'm sure its been tried before and I would be surprised if it wasnt tried by some of the speed runners before.

Okay round 2..uncontrollable in 2wd.so 4wd,softer compound tires,and a 400 gram heavier motor in rear.tp5660 1356 kv 40/46 good for about 75 mph.

I’d have thought it’d be a little faster with that combo, especially with 40/46 gearing. I have the normal Max 6 1650 with 21/50 and I get up into the 60’s. Maybe because those tires are of such small circumference?

Interesting. And yes, mine gets really light in the front at full speed but still haven’t had a blow over, . Keep us posted!
