Because a title of "3500" is pointless and unhelpful for everyone.

Because if users want to search the forum for useful thread information (unlike this thread)
Then you need more than 4 characters to return decent results. This is typical for all searches of any sort.
"3500" would likely return many threads about 3s motor KV which is not the topic at all.
Poorly named threads or threads that have waaaaaaay too long of names both annoy me.
