Vorteks 3900kv VENDETTA MOTOR

So like it says I bought a vendetta motor and am going to try it in the Vorteks . Have any of y’all tried this? I’ll post my findings when I get it going

I had my vendetta motor that I removed when I got my tp motor. So I put it in my daughters senton and ran it on 3s with a 6s spectrum esc. It did get pretty hot after a few minutes. But it may just have to be geared down some more. I put the smallest gear I had like a 13 or 15.
I since put a 3200 back in there and put the 3900 in my typhon speed build I’m working on

I'm fairly certain you should run the 50t spur with the 3900kv motor.

I used a 57t stock senton spur and 15t pinion. I did have bigger tires on it which may have been the issue to the motor getting too hot

I got the 3900 installed and I can definitely see more speed. I put the 18 tooth pinion back on and it is still faster than the 20 tooth on stock 3200. No heat issues but this could change when the weather gets warmer. The 3900 does kill the lipo a little quicker. No cogging so far either
