You can do that. but. it will be severely wakened from its original state and will continue breaking. Better off to buy a new axle IMOCan you bend the plastic and put the metal back in the proper spot?

Small problem, ordered new shafts and my hex driver does not fitReplace it will come back out the plastic is weakened.... as stated earlier something it too tight check the slipper.
