Recently I was out running my Senton 3s and a rock got stuck by the slipper clutch, which I didn’t notice. Well after I get home and inspected the tuck I found the rock and it had ground a groove through the plastic cap that holds the slipper shaft in place. It seems this cap may be there more for manufacturing assembly due to the pressure of the driveshaft holding everything in place. Long story short, does the plastic cap need to be there? Ive attached a picture showing the piece I’m talking about for those not familiar with the piece I’m talking about.
