Don't forget to reinstall the motor heatsink. I'm not sure how much difference in temperature it makes, but use it if you have it.

Yes...easy to forget that hunk a heat sink. When I put the new pinion in I'll stick it to my forehead so I don't forget it ??

Don’t worry pull it with force the first time its a real pain but the next time will be easy I used a screw driver where it says pull so it doesn’t lock again

Yeah first time was a pain lol stripped screws specially on 2mm is due to the hex driver having play and rouded off. Mine is worn and i stripped so many screw with it im poor so. I could sand my tip off until i have a new surface without any damage but i don't have something powerfull to sand my driver i tried manually without success
When i take something out now i heat it up and i go slow. I know my driver is made of ok quality its just me tho tried to remove so many stripped screws with the same driver and with time i just rounded the hex enought to slip if you don't put pressure on the driver.
